Streisand on Jen Aniston Harper's Shoot: She's Missing a Nose "Bump"

Funny Girl star Barbra Streisand loved that Jennifer Aniston dressed as her for the September issue of Harper's Bazaar.

"I was very flattered that Jennifer Aniston chose to interpret my style with the photos in Harper's Bazaar," Streisand, 68, wrote on her official website Thursday. "She's a delightful person, and I think she did a wonderful job."

Streisand's one criticism: "If only she had a bump on her nose."

(In 2007, Aniston, 41, revealed that she got a nose job to treat a deviated septum.)

In the issue of Harper's, Aniston -- who met Streisand a few years ago at a New Year's Eve -- praises Streisand for being an inspiration.

"There isn't anything she hasn't done that she wanted to do, especially as a female in the time when her generation was prime," says Aniston. "She's a true renaissance woman."

Aniston's favorite Streisand flicks? "The Way We Were and A Star Is Born. Both pretty great."

No jen and gerald team- up

The tabloids are so desperate to stoke drama between Jen and her Bount hunter co-star, they’re now inventing rumors about casting.

“Jen Disses Gerard,” proclaims Star magazine, which claims Aniston “declined” Butler’s request that she play the leading lady in Consent to Kill, his upcoming thriller.

The pair worked together in The Bounty Hunter, sparking months of (wrong) romance rumors. Now Star is trying to make it seem like Aniston personally rejected Butler’s movie offer.

“Jen was flattered but said ‘no thanks,’” says an “insider” for the tab. “Bounty Hunter didn’t exactly set her career on fire.”

Star isn’t exactly “on fire” with its reporting, either. A rep for Butler tells Gossip Cop the report is “completely false.”

Jennifer Aniston is set to strike a deal to appear on Cougar Town with her former ''Friends'' co-star with Courteney Cox.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the 41-year-old actress is ''nearing a deal'' to guest star on Cox''s ABC sit.

The episode would air early on in season 2, which kicks off Sept. 22.

"I would love for it to happen, but there''s nothing to talk about yet," the Usmagazine.com quoted executive producer Bill Lawrence as saying. If the deal works out, it would be the third time the BFFs have shared the small screen.

Looking gorgeous as ever in a charcoal grey mini dress with giant drape sleeves, two gold necklaces and bangles and grey peep-toe pumps, Jen explained how she follows a very strict regiment when it comes to keeping her flawless figure. Whenever she eats a piece of pizza, she claims she runs a lap — and she’ll do it over and over again.

At first, we couldn’t imagine anyone doing such a thing — but the more she described it, we realized she really wasn’t joking! No wonder she looks so fabulous!

I don’t know who this poll has been talking to."

Jennifer, who admitted to having Botox procedures done and did not like it, looks after her skin, but doesn’t obsess about using the latest products. She has a facial wash which she uses most mornings, and always makes sure she applies sunscreen. However, the star doesn’t buy into having to wear a certain factor to get full protection.

“Oh, I use SPF 30 on my face. Nothing higher – they say that after SPF 30 it’s all bulls**t!” she laughed.

As Facebook registered its 500 millionth member, the celebrities fear the growing link to sex crimes against children and underage abductions, Daily Express reported.

In one high-profile case in the US, a 48-year-old man allegedly kidnapped a 13-year-old girl after lying about his age online and asking her to go out on a 'date'.

"I'm urging kids, don't go on the Internet. It's not fun; it's dangerous," said teen sensation Miley Cyrus, a former 'web addict'.

Some of the celebrities are also enraged over bogus home pages in their names.

"I would rather have a prostate exam on live television by a guy with very cold hands than have a Facebook page," said Clooney.

Jennifer Explains Fragrance Name Change and Admits to Not Liking Perfumes

JENNIFER ANISTON has explained why she changed the name of her new perfume just days before its launch - she discovered a fragrance with a similar title was already on sale.

The former Friends actress spent months deliberating over the name of her debut scent and finally settled on calling it Lolavie, which means 'laughing at life'.

But as the launch date approached, marketing bosses realized the name was too similar to a fragrance by fashion designer Marc Jacobs, called Lola.

Speaking at the launch of the scent in London on Wednesday (21Jul10), Aniston admits it was too late to rebrand the perfume with a different name, so she decided to call it simply 'Jennifer Aniston'.

She tells Reuters, "It turned out as we were getting close to the launch, there was something out there that was very similar and it was just going to get very confusing in the marketplace. And at such a late hour, I didn't want to postpone the launch so the only thing we could really clear was my name."

Aniston recently told Women's Wear Daily magazine why she picked Lolavie: "It's a long story and honestly it's too personal to tell, but it has a special significance."

Stepping out in London to launch the fragrance, the 41-year-old made the admission to fans at the renowned Harrods department store. "To be honest I'm not a big perfumey kind of a girl, I never really have been," she confessed.

She went on to describe her fragrance, Jennifer Aniston, as being a "Sexy clean smell - sort of non-perfumey".

The actress, 41, is the only 40-plus -- or 30-plus! -- star to chart on the Women's Health "Best Summer Bodies of 2010" list, and staying in such great shape isn't easy.

"It's simple," she told the Daily Mirror at the London launch of her eponymous perfume in London on Wednesday. "[I] run, work out every day. I do a lot of running -- exercise is so important."

The single actress added, "Plus it's all about balance. Work, exercise, diet, you need balance."

Aniston suggested that her fame helps keep her motivated, too."I am, perhaps, fortunate in that my career, the public awareness it brings, gives me a certain freedom in this way. But, of course, there are positives and negatives in any career, it's not all going to be perfect."

The site foolishly continues: “What a smart move on Jennifer Aniston’s part. She dipped out of town, July 19, heading to Heathrow Airport in London (where she landed on July 20), just as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie took over LA for the premiere of Angelina’s new action-thriller Salt!”

OK! Magazine Misleads with Jennifer Aniston “Mom” Cover

It’s almost as though OK! magazine is trying to break an unofficial record for misleading stories about Jennifer Aniston starting a family.

Last September, the tab claimed an “exclusive” and declared Aniston was pregnant, she wasn't

By April, she’d supposedly decided to have a baby with Gerard Butler!

In June, OK! “revealed” that she’d be announcing baby news in an upcoming interview. Nope!

Then the magazine insisted the actress had devised a “baby strategy.” Shockingly, it was wrong.

“Jen’s A Mom!” OK! blares on its current cover in another so-called “exclusive.”

Of course, the accompanying article is anything but exclusive or revealing.

It mostly discusses Aniston’s emerging romance with Chris Gartin , who happens to have two children from a previous marriage.

“She’s trying to be nice and win them over,” says a “source close to the situation.” “She says it’s like a dream come true,” reports a different “source,” who explains, “She has been wanting a family for so long, not to mention a loving relationship, and now she has both, practically overnight.”

Of course, no one wants Aniston to have a family as badly as OK!, which has been spreading varying rumors about her impending motherhood for months. And while her comfort with Gartin’s daughter Sydney and son Flynn is nice, Aniston’s evolving relationship with their dad is the article’s actual focus.

Look for more stories of the actress “playing mom,” as OK! continues to “play reporter,” giving Aniston children by any means necessary to fit their endless campaign.

Jennifer versus Stalker

Jennifer Aniston as been granted a restraining order against Jason Peyton, an alleged stalker.

Peyton was arrested on July 15— in a place he thought Aniston frequents — with a sharp object, a roll of duct tape and written messages about the actress.

The 24-year-old man is described in court documents as “an obsessed, mentally ill and delusional stalker — with a history of violence and criminal stalking — who drove cross-country in his delusional ‘mission’ to locate and marry [Aniston], with whom he believes he is in a relationship.”

Peyton was never prowling at Aniston’s home or anywhere near her home, her rep assures explaining that the order “was granted to protect her should he try to go to her home or anywhere she might be.”

Peyton’s journey began in Pennsylvania, where he left his father a note on June 25 announcing his trip to Los Angeles. Peyton’s dad tipped off police.

The younger Peyton has been institutionalized in the past and stopped taking antipsychotic drugs in March, according to authorities. His history includes stabbing himself and striking his mother with a golf club.

Under the terms of the restraining order, Peyton must stay 100 yards from Aniston’s home, places of work and vehicles, as well as her professional associates and colleagues.

Glad Jennifer is safe.
